We are two licensed teachers (and sisters!) who love to make learning fun for children.
We offer 45-minute tutoring sessions, Tuesday through Thursday from 4pm-8pm.

Orton Gillingham Tutoring
Orton-Gillingham (OG) tutoring is a highly structured and sequential approach that breaks reading and spelling down into smaller skills involving letters and sounds and then builds on these skills over time. Using the OG approach, we guide individualized, structured, and multisensory plans to teach reading and vocabulary skills to ALL students! In Orton Gillingham tutoring, we focus on explicit phonics instruction and phonological awareness, and all lessons are multisensory, combining sight, hearing, touch, and movement. We make it fun!
Remedial Reading & Writing Tutoring
Our remedial reading tutoring offer specialized instruction to students who struggle with reading skills. We focus on improving basic reading abilities, such as decoding (sounding out words), encoding (translating spoken words into writing), comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. Remedial reading is typically aimed at students who are behind grade level or facing challenges due to factors like dyslexia, learning disabilities, or other barriers to learning. Lessons will be tailored to the specific needs of the student to help them catch up with their peers.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutoring
We love our ELLs (English Language Learners)! We build tutoring plans specific for each child to help students master reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English so that they can thrive at school and socially.
Remedial Math Tutoring
Our remedial math lessons help young students who are struggling with basic math concepts taught at the elementary level. We reinforce foundational math skills and basic number sense, such as counting on, counting back, addition, subtraction. Math tutoring involves lots of hands-on activities, visual aids, and games to boost students' confidence in their math abilities, improve their problem-solving skills, and bring them up to grade level.
Social Emotional Learning Support
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) refers to the process by which students develop the skills to manage their emotions, build positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and handle interpersonal situations effectively. We help children communicate their wants, needs and feelings with others, and bring play to everything: we practice playing with others, taking turns, navigating conflicts, and identifying and regulating emotions.
